It’s the bottom of the 6th with two outs and the bases loaded. The pitch comes in, it’s hit well, and all you can hear is the home team yell, “Don’t touch home, don’t touch home!” Yes this is the sound of intramural softball at its finest. As someone who played baseball in high school and briefly in college, I love that intramurals gives students the opportunity to continue to play at a semi-competitive level. You don’t have to be the best at a sport to play and it’s easy to find your niche in a sport you may have never played before.
