10/24/2009 Potholes Reservoir Canoe & Camping

Looking for a new experience this fall? Join us in an unforgettable adventure canoeing the Potholes Reservoir at Potholes Sate Park. At this remote location, the wildlife is plentiful and the scenery flourishes along the freshwater, sandy shorelines. We will commute to the reservoir Saturday morning, spend the day canoeing and exploring, campout overnight along the water at a designated campsite, and return Sunday evening. Canoeing and camping out at the Potholes Reservoir will be enjoyable for experienced and beginning outdoors enthusiasts alike. (Level 2) Good physical conditioning is necessary, little experience is required, and little technical knowledge is necessary.There is a mandatory pre trip meeting for this trip. This pre trip meetings are designed to give patrons the necessary information for the trip as well as answer any questions. The Pre-Trip meeting for this adventure is Wednessday, October 21th at 6:30pm in the Outdoor Recreation Center.
