10/17/2009 Intro to Rock Climbing Part II: Granite Point

After successful completion of Intro to Rock Climbing Part 1, Part 2 takes participants one step further to developing their skills within the great outdoors at the local rock face, Granite Point.
Part 2: Takes participants to Granite Point to further develop their top roping skills in an outdoor setting. In addition, climbers may be instructed on how to construct anchors, read rock faces, bolts etc. Utilizing all the skills and techniques introduced to in Part 1, participants will apply their fundamentals to outdoor recreation climbing. Climbers of all levels are encouraged to participate in this institutional climbing session. PART 1 IS A PREREQUISITE FOR PART 2. (Level 2)Good physical conditioning is necessary, little experience is required, and little technical knowledge is necessary.
