09/04/2009 Labor Day Weekend Kayak and Camp: Priest Lake
Join us Labor Day Weekend for a scenic awe inspiring, stress reducing, paddling and camping adventure at Upper Priest Lake. This trip is an excellent introduction to sea kayaking and camping. Novice and experienced sea kayakers alike cannot help but enjoy the calming waters of picturesque Priest Lake. Upper Priest Lake is a great destination for any paddler, as the water is restricted to engine powered boats, and no development can occur along its shoreline. This trip is a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. No experience is required and all necessary equipment is provided. (Level 3) Good physical conditioning is required, some experience is recommended, and some technical knowledge is highly recommended.
The pre-trip meeting for this trip is held 6:30-8pm, Tuesday, 9/1, at the ORC and is mandatory for all trip participants.
