08/21/2009 New Student Adventures: Salmon River Rafting & Clean-up Eco Adventure
Congratulations and welcome to WSU! Before embarking on your college career, join us for an adventure.
WSU’s New Student Adventures (WSUNSA) is an optional wilderness orientation program for new students. It’s a challenging and rewarding outdoor experience designed to ease the transition into university life. Beginners with little to no previous wilderness experience are encouraged to participate.
In this signature WSU Eco Adventure, spend the weekend rafting, camping, and performing community service on Idaho’s breathtaking Salmon River! Enjoy two nights of camping, a day of white water rafting, and take time with your peers to clean up parts of the river along your way. This is a great opportunity to enjoy and make an impact on a large river system that is used by whitewater enthusiasts from around the world. This trip is only open to new students at Washington State University.
