01/26 Banff Mountain Film Festival
The Banff Mountain Film Festival presented by National Geographic and New Balance highlights the many aspects of mountain culture throughout the world. The showing at WSU will be made up of several different films that can vary in length from two minute short films to much longer feature films. The majority of the films use adventure based activities such as skiing, climbing, kayaking, base jumping and mountain biking to highlight the nuances of civilization and shed light on areas less traveled. Held in CUB Auditorium, reserved seats will be held until 6:50pm. This event is free for students; however, you will need to show your Cougar Card at the door.
